Make a photo fit

Choose a static JPEG, PNG or HEIC from Photos or Files.
Enter the file limit in KB or MB. Keep the original pixels, set a longest edge, or enter exact width and height.
Choose padding or a centered crop where necessary, then process.
Compare the original and JPG. Save or share the new copy using the system share sheet.

The target is too small

Raise the file limit or explicitly choose fewer pixels. Photo KB will not silently reduce fixed dimensions. JPG compression may lose fine detail; always inspect the output.

What do KB and MB mean?

1 KB = 1,000 bytes and 1 MB = 1,000,000 bytes. The saved file must be strictly below the limit. A website may apply other content rules; Photo KB does not certify identity photos or guarantee acceptance.

Purchases and restoring

Three personal photos are free, including export. Reprocessing the same selected photo does not use an extra credit. Samples, cancelled jobs and failures do not use credits. The one-time unlock enables continued processing, batches and saved rules. Use Settings → Restore purchases with the same Apple Account after reinstalling. For Apple billing and refund requests, visit reportaproblem.apple.com. A pending purchase is not yet unlocked.

iCloud, file formats and originals

Download cloud-only items before offline processing. Output is always JPG; transparency is filled with the previewed background. Animation, video and PDF are unsupported. Your input original is not changed or deleted. Save your results before starting a new selection or closing the app.
